The girls let themselves down in the first half when they went 5.0 down with only one or two players coming out with any credit. After a half time rocket from Hawkins, the players came out and had a much better second half thanks to a superb 20 yard free kick from Paula Hawkins and a good solo goal from player of the match Frankie Locock. John said after the game, it was a bad day, we must learn from our mistakes and move on. SIMPLY THE BEST SIMPLY THE BEST SIMPLY THE BEST The Ladies play and train in Ickleford, just outside Hitchin at the Ickleford Sports Ground which has it's own changing facilities and club house. The Ladies will be training on Wednesday Evenings on a purpose built floodlit area, and Match Days are Sunday, with a 2pm Kick Off.
